Parents must be registered in the parish at least 3 months and attend a preparation class.  Please provide a copy of:

• Your child's birth certificate


• A completed sponsor forms (See Documents section)


• Married sponsors need to provide a copy of their marriage license (either validly married in the Church or single and not co-habitating).


• Only one Godparent/ Sponsor must be a practicing Catholic; another sponsor may be a Christian witness (either validly married or single and not co-habitating).

      Use the form on the contact page or call the parish office (864-223-8410) to arrange a baptism class.  Consider when you want the baptism scheduled when you attend the class and the office will confirm with the Pastor.

• English baptisms are scheduled the second Saturday of the month at 11 AM and multiple baptisms may be celebrated at once (if there’s more than one scheduled).   Classes by Dr. Joseph Johnson are taught during parish office hours (9:00 AM - 4:30 PM) in the office conference room.


• Spanish baptisms are scheduled the first Saturday of the month at 11 AM; all Spanish baptisms will be celebrated together (if there’s more than one scheduled).  Classes are taught by Miguel Burgos and Marilyn Castro every other month.  Please contact Marisol Palacios to schedule a class.
