There are many homeschooling families at Our Lady of Lourdes. We meet as a co-op on Thursdays at 11:00 AM for social activities. Join up and get to know each other, to support each other with ideas, curriculum choices, food and fun but especially prayer.
Our group is a ministry of Our Lady of Lourdes to families who choose to educate their children at home. Catholic homeschooling is an option for families who recognize the primary spiritual influence of their home is the domestic church, not only in spiritual matters, but also academics.
We have the opportunity to educate our children academically within a distinctly Catholic world-view, counteracting secular, godless influences - highlighting the role the Church has played in the development of Western civilization.
We have the opportunity to teach subject matter formed by the catechism, the role of Catholic historians, saints, mathematicians, scientists, philosophers, writers and authors, Popes, educators and other notable men and women who have influenced the culture.
Join us and help grow our community and families!
